I have come here many times. This venue is pretty good. They have hot food thats OKish. The drinks are a little pricy for the size. The main floor is leveled flat, so it sometimes is kinda hard to see the stage if you're not that tall. The seats that are up on the menaziene are a bit overpriced, and you have to have VIP tickets in the first place to get up there, but you get your own server, which is cool. I had my phone flashlight on and they came and told me to turn it off. I Didn't like that at all specialy when the artist next song she told us to turn them on.
NICK IS THE GOAT! he made our 9 hour wait at the box office so seamless and really took care of us, brought us umbrellas and water to stay cool and made sure to prioritize those of us who waited literally all day to get in 🤘 i love to be apart of true community and nick really helped cultivate that
No venue is perfect, but this one is one of my favorite smaller scale venues in the Phoenix valley. Hope to see more of my favorite bands here again soon!
I love the ambiance, layout, and lighting at this venue. The restrooms are very clean and have plenty of stalls that you never have to squeeze in to get through to use them and no lines! I also like how there is a dedicated outdoor area between the venue and security if you want to rest or take a break outside.
The upstairs seats are dedicated seats you purchase and are quite spacious. The food isn’t bad either. Great views. They also have benches, first come first serve, that you can sit on for no extra costs if you just purchase the non-seating upstairs tickets.
Goes without saying, but Van Buren has no slanted floors! For some reason there’s been at least two other venues in AZ that have slanted floors which dampens the experience which can be irritating if you’re standing for the entire show.
One star off due to the parking situation. It sucks having to park almost a block away that you have to pay for and walk to the venue.
